Apostles of Peace Society International

Our Story

Apostles of Peace movement is a HUMANITARIAN, EVANGELICAL and PHILANTHROPIC Society inaugurated on the 17th January 1998, registered with Corporate Affairs Commission and has over 30 physical chapters within Nigeria as at July 2026, and various virtual chapters worldwide, awaiting inauguration.

Apostles of Peace Society which was initiated and founded by SIYANBOLA ADERINOLA OLADAPO, is a response to a rather tense situation but emerged as a beacon of hope from the hallowed halls of Saint Paul's Anglican Church in Isagatedo, Isolo, Lagos state, Nigeria, with the purpose of promoting, intervening, and maintaining peace.

The other Founding fathers are Oba Dele Orisabiyi, Mrs Kemi Sotuminu who drafted the first constitution and Rev. Gabriel Fawole now a Venerable.

Our Domains

HUMANITARIAN

Our various chapters are involved in welfare programs regularly throughout the year which include providing succour, distribution of food items, clothings, medical outreach, and other gestures that lessen the burdens of the needy, without forgetting care for our retired priests, and their widows.

EVANGELICAL

The Society is committed to ensuring religious harmony and evangelical activities that promote peace and good neighbourliness in our communities, nation, and the world; and also draw the youth to embrace peace, through involvement in Youth Vanguard and Peace Cadet organs of the society.

PHILANTROPIC

AOPI Philanthropic activities are towards alleviating human sufferings, restoring dignity to the vulnerables, through education, provision of boreholes in various communities, poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and community peace projects.
